vmaxblues Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 Hi all, I have decided to order a bass from ACG and have started going through the specs, I like the recurve, but as to woods etc, any advice would be gratefully received. I want to achieve a punchy tone but with a background of warmth if that makes sense, I get this currently with my Warwick and would love to get this with an ACG. OldGit Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 Best thing to do is to assemble a load of tracks that you like the sound of and then discuss them with Alan at ACG. He's by far the best person to help you decide on stuff that will make the bass sound the way you want it to. There are so many variables!
