Oakwood 5 String Upright/EUB £1000 Ickenham, London

Hi all, up for sale is a pretty rare beast. I bought this from this very forum a few years ago as an initial foray into Upright. Dan's original for sale thread here has some detailed info on the instrument.

 

It's in exactly the same condition as when I bought it, as it did just one gig with me and has otherwise only been used at home for practice. It's strung B-G and has a piezo pickup in the bridge, with a single jack output on the side. As mentioned in the original FS thread, it's the most authentic sounding and feeling EUB I've ever come across, and was precisely the reason I bought it. The shoulder is detachable, and fits into a pocket within the gig bag. It weighs very little and so can easily be worn on your back with the shoulder straps on the gig bag. Only selling as I need the space!

 

£1000 - Would definitely welcome collection on this as I wouldn't want to post it, but I could also meet somewhere reasonable for a contribution towards fuel.
