Ampeg SGT-DI Problems

Afternoon, 

 

Can anyone offer some guidance please?

 

I have an Ampeg SGT DI, about 3 yrs old and out of warranty. Used maybe 20 times. It was working fine until it stopped the other night at a rehearsal. All lights still work, the Aux in still works ok but i can't get any sound from the DI out (what I normally use) or the headphones out. I've tried a factory reset and checked that the software is up to date. If I tap my finger on the end of a lead plugged into the Input jack i can get the compression light to light up faintly but no where near as bright as it used to. 

 

Any ideas? I don't want to pay loads to have someone tell me it's going to cost loads to fix and I also don't want to just chuck it it the bin either so would prefer to gift it on to someone for spares/parts.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but have you tried it with a different bass? Could also be your output jack.
