I’m selling my beloved Squier JV Jazz Bass from 1982 or 1983—a true vintage gem from the legendary Japanese Vintage (JV) series. If you know, you know: these early Squiers were built in the Fujigen factory and are known for their incredible craftsmanship and tone that rivals American Fenders.
Specs:
Model: Squier JV Jazz Bass
Year: 1982 or 1983
Finish: Classic Sunburst
Neck: Maple with rosewood fingerboard
Pickups: Original single coils
Hardware: All original and fully functional
Made in Japan (Fujigen)

Condition:
Technically perfect – no issues, no noise, everything works as it should
Cosmetically very good – some light wear as expected for a 40+ year-old instrument, but nothing major
Plays smooth, sounds warm and punchy—just like a proper Jazz Bass should

Whether you’re into funk, jazz, rock, or soul, this bass delivers. It’s not just a collector’s piece—it’s a serious player’s instrument.
Pickup in Eindhoven or I can send.
You’re welcome to come try it out—coffee’s on me
Feel free to message me with any questions or to arrange a test run. No silly offers please—this is a quality bass for someone who knows what they’re getting.

I am interested in a trade with a Stingray Special. I can add money on top for the right one.
I have bought and sold basses in this forum many times.
Shipping within EU is possible.

Cheers,
Fatih
