Rigetto Posted Friday at 14:08 Posted Friday at 14:08 Hi there, I have a issue with my '90s Spector NS5CR (Emg 40DC with the EMG BTS preamp, soldered, 9V). Well, it's started to drain my battery really fast, even if unplugged. How can I troubleshoot it? Any hint? Do you guys need pictures of the electronic cavity? Thanks Quote
itu Posted Friday at 15:21 Posted Friday at 15:21 Pictures please, sharp ones. Do you have a DMM (Digital MultiMeter)? If yes, start measuring from output jack. 1 Quote

itu Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Take the other half of the battery from the contact, and measure the current from the open contact. Should be zero. 1 Quote

Shall I pull out just one button of the battery and measure the current from the open contact and from what other point? Quote
itu Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago From the battery and the open battery snap. Then you can see, whether there's any leak. Quote
