I've had this a couple of years and it's a nice pedal, lovely vintage tone and the compressor is really simple and effective - on/off! Very musical and usable. The distortion is very old-school but the blend makes it incredibly usable and I love the bass and treble EQ. Unfortunately I don't need it as I got it to use while my main preamp was in for repair and it's surpus to requirements now so I'm selling for less than I paid for it a few years ago. Posted. BARGAIN! Not really looking for trades but try me. No box but it'll be well packaged.

Easy to Control

With it's channel-strip layout, the Bass Metaphors couldn't be easier to use. It features control knobs for Treble and Bass, an EQ Level control, Master Volume, Distortion Level with Distortion Bypass switch, a Dry control (which allows you to choose just how much of the signal is affected by the built-in compressor), Compressor activation switch (Squash/Bypass), and even a pedal Bypass switch.
