Newfoundfreedom Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago We'll I've taken the plunge and ordered two sets off Temu. See how we go. They don't even have to be good quality audio as I just want them for monitoring the rest of the instruments as a guide track while we live record drums, so we'll see how we go. After Temu discount coupons they were less than £20 a pair so can't really go wrong as long as they actually function. Quote

Once the refund is in the pocket, I'd be tempted to open it and see if I could change the battery. They're usually quite cheap but it'll probably require some soldering and steady hand, as it's so tiny. Unusually for AliExpress they wanted the unit returned, but made an instant refund as a credit (my choice) as soon as I did today. They have me a QR code for Royal Mail and noticed when they printed the label that it is going to an address in Hounslow - so looks like they may have some kind of generic returns department in the UK. kiat Posted 17 hours ago Author Posted 17 hours ago I hope my bandmate's WP-12 lasts years. I'm not getting another one though. I've just bought a t.bone IEM 75 for £65 used and will get that onto my pedalboard. Quote

I've only had to return an item once, and it went to some address in the UK too, I forget where. AliExpress gets a lot of negative comments, but their customer service is very buyer-friendly in my experience, far more than eBay. Are you getting another set? I haven't used mine much, but they work well enough (when they don't malfunction, that is! :D) as long as you're mindful of the relatively high latency (for a simple setup like I use, without tons of digital processing units in teh signal path, it seems fine enough). I think I was looking at that a while ago, just not sure if it was the 75 or another one. I was interested because the latency on radio units is really low, but the sound quality can vary a lot (there's a lot of processing going on and bass response can be reduced). Please let us know what you think once you've got it Quote
