Ibanez Axstar Headless 'Travel' Bass - £395 - *SOLD*
£485

Purchased a year ago to join my other 'headless' basses, but not getting played enough, so moving it on.

A bass with an 80's vintage feel to it, lightweight (about 3kg), small (obviously) but despite being 24 fret, having a large enough contoured basswood body to sit comfortably whilst being played.

A very solid sound through two humbuckers and the usual Ibanez blend control. Other controls are volume and tone.

34" scale, rosewood fretboard, maple neck.

Currently fitted with roundwound strings, but you can alter the strings to whatever type you want since the top of the neck secures them with allen screws, so no need for double ball-end types.

It's had plenty of playing in its life and the body has quite a few dings and scratches and one chip in the paintwork - please see the photos .

Comes with a strap and a good quality Rockbag soft case.

Pickup from Uxbridge area, or I will courier at cost.

I might mention that this is a very good travel bass: full scale, and still so tiny.
