Tuner Issues - KORG TM-60

I am currently having a little bit of trouble with my KORG TM-60 tuner metronome combo. When I turn on the tuner, the tuner scale gets stuck on a B sharp or C major, and when I turn it on in a silent room it has the same issue. Unfortunately it cant pick up any other pitches, other than the one it is stuck on. Any suggestions?

Sorry if this sounds too obvious, but do the batteries need replacing? I’ve got a TM-80 and it starts being unpredictable when they are running down.
