Hello,

I’m an interested buyer with just a few questions. Can you provided some photos of the head stock and tuning machines, and a close-up photo of the fingerboard? Also, what’s this instrument’s age? Where or from whom did you acquire it? How long have you owned it? Who has done any work or set-up, or finishing it may have needed over the years?

Thank You,

Expat

I’ve owned this bass for about 10 years, I bought it from a lady who told me it belonged to her late father. It had a crack in the heel of the neck which she believed her father had repaired, I played the bass as it was for about a year but wasn’t confident about the crack, so I took it to Tim Batchelor in Leicester who removed the fingerboard and carried out a professional repair fitted a new fingerboard and adjustable bridge. He presumed the bass to be late 19th/ early 20th century.

I’m selling this reluctantly due to health issuesD7DF33D4-F2E5-449A-95F8-52118D30577A.thumb.jpeg.2e4a4ab808afce44ae028656295e7a9e.jpeg
