bass_dinger Posted January 11 Posted January 11 My Yamaha AG03 no longer has a working bass guitar input ( channel 1). There is no sound via the mixer, although the peak level lights show that there is a signal going in. However, when I switch to channel 2/3 (stereo keyboard), the AG03 produces sound. I have tried swapping cables - channel 1 does not work, but plugging the bass into channel 2 gives me sound. This happened once before - no sound from channel 1, but it started working again, by itself. Any ideas? Maybe a factory reset? Buy another interface? Quote
Inga Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago if there's a signal going in on the interface then it's a bit weird I'd think it were on the software/digital end rather than the interface itself depending on what daw you're using i mean it's a bit obvious but make sure the recording channel is armed to be recording input 1 rather than the second, otherwise unsure sorry 1 Quote
bass_dinger Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago So, I ended up attaching a small mixer to the front end of the AG03, so that I could use the the additional inputs on the mixer, and bypassing the faulty channel. Eventually I replaced the mixer and AG03 with a Behringer UMC1820, which gave more inputs and a neater profile on my desk. I had planned to sell the AG03 and tested it to make a note of which channels didn't work - and it was all working again! So, I likewise suspect that it was a software glitch. Quote
