robert43 Posted May 16, 2009 Share Posted May 16, 2009 Hi my son has a Stingray knock off with a SD SMB-4D ( ceramic ) pickup with a SD STC-3M4 preamp that suits the the pickup. He wants to now install a 2nd MM pickup. I was wondering does any 1 out there recommend / know should we install the same pickup or should we go for the SMB-4A ( alnico ). If we go for 1 of each which do you recommend in neck & which at bridge. We will install a 3 way switch for the 2 pickups. Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
