J66Bass Posted March 2 Share Posted March 2 (edited) Hello and good Morning , for sale I have a stunning SB 600 in excellent cosmetic shape only a minor mark , the bass play unbelievably and super low action, 1983, the last year the SB600 was made. All the hardware was changed to gold. The jack socket is a gold Puretone one. The Pots were replaced with Alpha units at 500k the Cap is a Russian Paper in oil unit. The tuners are new Gotoh replacement units same as Aria used. The cavity cover and truss rod cover are pure brass units like the Elites instead of plastic. The bridge has been cleaned and although gold from the factory it has been upgraded with new gold springs and screws. It’s fully set up and plays like butter. The pickup is a the Custom unit Aaron Armstrong which is very hot (22k) but dead smooth and warm vintage sounding with the tone turned down.
