Full Description

Unique design, superior performance

Powerful drive optimised for bass. The MXR M89 Bass Overdrive Pedal's unique circuit is noteworthy. In an industry based around copies of copies, innovation should always be applauded- MXR pride themselves on it with their 'Bass Innovations' moniker. This innovatory pedal primarily utilises soft clipping to achieve it's warm, saturated tone; this means it'll pair well with most amplifiers offering a lift to your playing when engaged. The true bypass design means your tone remains unaltered when not engaged so it'll seamlessly slip into your existing rig.

Tailoring your tone

To fine-tune your overdriven tone to perfection, MXR included various intuitive features to make this process easy. The simple four knob layout makes navigating controls straightforward and easy. First use the Clean control to find the ideal balance of unaffected dry signal and the driven wet signal. Then, the Drive control alters the intensity of the overdrive effect. Finally, use the Volume and Tone controls as standard to add your personal tonal preference and overall volume level. Voila! Instant, mammoth overdriven bass tones.
