Trace Elliot - ELF Combo. 1 x 10 vs 1 x 8

Hi

 

Looking for some real life experience and feedback from people please.

 

I'm considering getting an ELF combo and looking at either the 1 x 10 or the 1 x 8, but other than the speaker size they don't seem to differ?

 

Both have the same head 200W into 4 Ohms or 130W into 8 Ohms.

 

I've searched for reviews that did 10 vs 8, but nothing seems to pop up.

 

It's using the same head so the difference must be tonally in the characteristics of the speaker?

 

Back in the day I loved my TE head and 4 x 10 cab - the alternative was a 1 x 15 or combined for 4 x 10 & 1 x 15, but as this is  a combo and I'm not looking to build as a stack any feedback would be welcome to help me choose.
