I have a custom Musicman 5 String style bass I am putting together. I already have a Bartolini Musicman Classic pickup installed in the sweetspot. Im planning to buy another Bartolini Musicman Pickup and arrange them like the Bongo pickup locations. Keeping the bass passive. Does anyone know if the Bartolini Original Pickups have more low end and more specifically, high end than the Bartolini Classic pickups? Ruck Posted May 31, 2023 Author Share Posted May 31, 2023 Just viewed some youtube videos and I might want to consider the Quad-Coil Musicman pickups too... Still its hard to tell...
