John Lennon discovered that English teachers were giving students Beatles lyrics to analyze. While on LSD he wrote ‘Walrus’ using nonsense lyrics, and said, “Let them work that one out.” The BBC banned the song because of the line "you've been a naughty girl, you let your knickers down”, as well as the phrase "pornographic priestess."
