Chaddy Posted July 4, 2022 Share Posted July 4, 2022 An extended XMAS Present finally purchased, and a couple returned or reviewed as Fender BQ for electronics is the worst I have ever known. (But dam, it plays nice and there is limited 12' radius selections about, and already got a Warwick! ) The Pre-Amp & Shielding is roughly similar to a crisp packet & an 9v battery just thrown into the empty bag and squished into the cavity. Utter utter dross for something that has a sweet pair of pickups and smooth playability! Why! just why! So.. After a few weeks of mulling around, a Glockenklang 3-Band Pre amp curtesy of Bass Direct's fine service will be getting installed & a final set up as there is some tweaks to be made on action level, Pickup height and so forth. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chaddy Posted July 14, 2022 Author Share Posted July 14, 2022 Update The Jack port housing inside has cosmetic damage from Fender , which was hidden. by the fitting plate on the inside. Looks like it was semi chipped when being built & hidden with the stinky poo shielding.
