DJ Retro - John East Preamp for Lakland DJ

These are great onboard preamps and the control place is special for the Lakland Darryl Jones models.

It was already installed when I bought my Lakland Skyline DJ5 here on the Marketplace around 8 years ago.

I realised that for at least the last 5 years I always used in passive mode as I'm mostly recording and have some nice external preamps.

As reluctant as I am to let go, I need the cash and it doesn't make sense to keep it if I'm not using it.

Please read:

The middle potentiometer has a slight bend.

It doesn't affect anything when the "Bright" switch is not engaged, but with the "Bright" switch up, the "Treble" and "Bass" controls catches a bit and turns the other.

So, if you like using the "Bright" switch you need to be careful while changing things on a middle of a song.

It never affected me as I didn't use the "Bright" switch much and when I did was not in the middle of songs anyway.
