Robert Manning Posted September 15, 2021 Share Posted September 15, 2021 (edited) Hey guys! looking for a bit of advice, I have a musician Sterling that needs some electrical attention - could anyone recommend a guitar tech who could potentially fix (portsmouth/Hampshire) detail wise; when plugging in the jack I heard a loud buzz/hum (exactly the same noise as when you put your hand on the cable when plugged into the amp) I took out the jack plate to take a look; the wires looked connected but as I inspected one of the wires detached. Even when touching the wire to broken solder point the same loud buzzing noise continues. Which leads me to believe there could be more issues inside. im not up for DIYing this as I’ll probably burn the house down. any recommendations around portsmouth/Hampshire for a guy with the know how would be awesome willing to pay what ever is needed.
