Have changed the control plate but have the original (pictured...works perfectly, I just like the chrome so changed it). I believe the original pots are better. There was a scratchplate fitted to the bass when I bought it so removed it and had a luthier sort out the holes, fit the bridge and control plate and service the bass. The original plate is also supplied with the bass along with the original bridge (also changed as it was rusted up and pretty buggered tbh). See pics. All demos welcome.
