woodenshirt Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 (edited) This may seem like a bit of a daft question but, why is it that the position of the strap button on the upper horn of (mainly 1970's?) Fender basses seems to vary from bass to bass? On some examples they are placed pointing level with the neck and on others they are pointing down towards the neck.
