I recently bought a 4 string 32 inch scale Greco off 'Slappindabass' and i am now hooked on 32 inch scale and want to try a 30inch scale like a mustang.  So I am moving on two of my bass collection 5 string jazz basses

The red one is £220

The purple one is £180

BOTH £380

These have to be the cheapest 5 string bass collections on basschat.

Great value great gigging basses from the late 80s/90s

I have added a few more photographs it is quite difficult to get good pictures because I have a crap 2mp camera.

There is no fret wear no rusting all the frets are in excellent condition as are all the screws the photographs do not do this justice

Any questions 07710 213520

Any trades considered but particularly after a medium scale 4 or 5 string jazz style bass and I can put money to a deal

The red one is the sen ash body with the see through lacquer.  When i bought it the pre amp had been bodged by a DIY owner so I got DOUG WILKES to remove the preamp fit all new alpha pots and I have used it for the last 2 years as a passive bass mainly as the backup to my black one (not for sale ) which i gig with.  I intended to have a John East preamp and some Delano JMVC5 fitted (same as my black one ).  The mini toggle was a series parallel switch on the old preamp it is now wired to drop the bridge pickup out of a two pickup mix.  The controls are  the seperate tones and volumes for each pickup. There are only two marks on the guitar one of which is at the end of the pink plectrum. New strings a month ago. Currently has straplocks but I will put the original strap buttons back on.

The other one is a satin matt very dark purple so in most lighting it looks nearly black.  It looks more of a plum colour because of the flash on the camera. New set of elites. The only two marks are shiny patch where the previous owner rested their thumb but because its a matt finish fingermarks show up the other mark is a little dent shown by the pink plectrum, the strap buttons are not original. I have a number of bass collections and i gig them all regularly so yes they have both been gigged but they have  no fret wear and no gouges.
