The night is 18 October 2008. Each event will be locally organised and distinctive, but two main elements will bind them together: The proceeds from all the events will be given to a single, hugely worthwhile, charity, WaterAid; and at 10.00 all the bands will be playing the same tune (Jamie Allen) and as many people as possible will be dancing The Circassian Circle. -------------------------------------------------------- We're hijacking a club's annual dinner and dance that we are playing, for the Big Ceilidh Dance at 10 pm along with hundreds of other bands all over teh UK and the world and then doing a whip round for Water Aid. If you are stuck for something to do on Saturday night have a look at the venue list on the website linked above and see if there's one near you. Loads of fun and you'll save people's lives too.
