It's a very appreciated chorus, much sought after. Thing is it only applies the chorus effect to some part of the spectrum (they talk about harmonics, but it doesn't make sense to me as sound is all about harmonics), keeping the bottom end clean. You can dial a very discrete chorus which you'll barely hear but will make the tone much more beautiful or you can be more extreme and get a Jaco-sound very easily. It's in perfect working condition, physical condition is good but keep in mind it's 20 years old The bottom rubber pad is missing and has been replaced with 2 velcro strips by the former owner so I can't say if it's Japanese or Taiwanese. Pots work perfectly fine, overall just a few scratches and the Boss CE-2B inscription tends to fade away slightly. Finbar Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 I own one of these and very much like it - I have it on all the time for that slight fattening, and it doesn't overwhelm the sound by any means.
