Hi! Up for sale this very good bass:

The bass is a Fodera Monarch New Standard, not to be confused with the actual standard line. The New Standards were made I think between late's 90s and early 2000s.

It's basically a Monarch bolt-on. Mahogany body, Masur birch top (I'm not sure but is what seems), three pieces maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, angled headstock (like on custom ones), EMG p/j pickups, and two band EQ, with the volume working as an active-pasive switch.

I don't know the exact year of birth, the last owner told me 2004. It's in very good condition, I'd only seen a ding on the upper part of the body, were rests the right forearm.

The neck is perfectly staight, the frets are in very good condition and very well leveled, so it can be adjusted to very low action if desired.

The bass sounds and play as good as custom Foderas (at least at the level of the ten I owned before), it only weights 4,0kg (good for a mahogany monarch). The only noticeable difference is in the preamp, but this one sounds very good with the EMG, I didn't miss the mid control or the pasive tone.

It comes in a generic hard case, with the truss rod tool and the Dunlop Straplocks.

I'm selling it cause I have tendonitis and I have pain if I play anything but my principal bass, I'm selling some basses for this reason.
