BassHertz Posted January 15, 2016 Share Posted January 15, 2016 I have a Brice six string with EMG 45 active pickups. Originally this bass had a 2 band preamp with volume and pan controls (4 pots). Now it is wired as Vol/Vol/Tone - leaving me with a spare hole. The EMG's sound fine as they are so I don't wish to add a preamp to it. I was wondering if it is possible to add a varitone switch to fill the other hole? Has anyone done this? And what capacitor values did you use?
