The bass plays and sounds sweet with low action and huge output, it has the original parts but has been largely modified – additional bridge J pickup has been installed in the past and the finish on the body has been removed. As seen in the photos the body was perhaps white, finish has been stripped a long time ago and there are numerous dings dongs and bumps around the body and the neck. I do not know the brand of the J pickup and it is currently not connected. The neck finish has crazings. The back strap pin is a little bit sunk into the body. Weight is about 4,5kg on my home scale, so not bad for a vintage G&L. All in all the bass is ready to play as is, but It will sure be nice to fill the additional pickup hole and refinish the body – a project for which I do not have time so have to pass it on.
