After much pondering over this I have decided to sell up one of my longest serving basses.[/font][/color][color=#141823][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]
It wasn't being used, so last year I had it fretless-converted to a professional standard by a well known luthier in the north (Dave Wilson). The fretboard is uncoated and unlined with all inlay marker dots moved to fretting positions.[/font][/color][color=#141823][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]
I'd hoped the conversion would give me the drive to play it more but unfortunately , Ive found a fretless bass doesnt have a place in my musical direction.[/font][/color][color=#141823][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]
The Lakland Skyline 4402 is a fantastic bass, it actually sounds better as a fretless. Very punchy and woody with lots of "mwah". It is in superb condition for its age (7 years old ). I don't think there are any marks on its body and only has a very mild bit of marking on the fretboard from fretless playing that could easily be polished or fine sanded out.[/font][/color][color=#141823][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]
I'm not going to put up a "nearest offer" on this. I'm after no less than £650 for this fine instrument.[/font][/color][color=#141823][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]
I'd prefer this to be picked up in person but, for petrol money, I'd deliver as far south as Preston or far north as Carlisle.[/font][/color][color=#141823][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]
