robocorpse Posted August 13, 2015 Share Posted August 13, 2015 Anyone got a Jackson JS3 here who can tell me if they are actually any good in terms of build, or fit and finish quality. Jackson UK have a massive gap in their bass range, they have the cheaper JS2/JS3/CBX around the 350 mark, the thru neck Chris Beattie signature (2+2 head and only in white), nothing in the Japanese CMG range in the UK at present, then you are looking at 3 grand for the USA signature ones, they have really dropped their bass game. Having said that, I am wondering if a couple of JS3s would be good for a touring Metal band if I had the frets dressed and I set them up properly. I have a "thing" for 80s style pointy head basses, and most of my g**tars are Jacksons. I guess the neck is the most important thing to me. Thoughts?
