These have come off my Jack Casady bass after around 5 or 6 hours use. They are my fave string on my P bass but I need something a tad brighter on the casady (have an old set of Fenders ill try). Nowhere near fully broken in but not packet-fresh either. These are the 105-40 gauge and are glassy smooth. Reasonably low tension and very much an ‘old school’ type flat, fairly thumpy and pretty dark.
