I am selling my Schack Unique Custom 4 string bass. The Schack has an ebony fingerboard, the 7 stripes of the neck are bubinga and maple. Neck is very slim! It is made by reknown german luthier Andy Schack in 1990s. A lot of great bassists have played Schack, like Kai Eckhardt for example.

The pickups are Bartolini Soapbars resting in front of a two tail-piece bridge. The preamp is a Schack Custom 3 Band EQ: It is semi-parametric, the edge frequencies can be varied for each band inside the bass via DIP switches:

I can ship it in a very stable flightcase I bought additionally (for 150€). These basses are new beyond 2000GBP. Condition is good, of course there are some scratches in the wood in respect to the age. But technically everything is in great working order, the frets are clean and almost as new. Trussrod working smoothly as well. The bass was formerly used in a studio by previous owner and almost never gigged. The preamp can work with up to 24V, which makes it work with extremely low-noise and gives large dynamic and headroom.

Trades ( maybe with money my way) are considered. MM Stingray / Sterling, Pedulla, WW Streamer, Precision basses, or hit me with an offer. 4 strings preferred. I also search for 12inch cabs, like Markbass Traveler, Vanderkley...

Open for all cash offers.

The wood on the back is actually as dark as on the front, bad photo with too much sunlight. :)
