goblin Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 Reluctantly I'm selling this Warwick Streamer Bolt On 5 stringer (predecessor to the LX range). Only reason for sale is I recently had to buy a new car, and as this was bought as a backup, it's not getting enough use and is first in the firing line to recover some funds Recently setup with a new set of coated Elixirs, and given a deep clean and wax. The body is a lightly flamed Maple, finished in Ocean Blue oiled finish. The neck and fretboard are Wenge, and the hardware is Gold. 2 band MEC active EQ with MEC pickups, recessed straplocks (strap attachments included). It's one of the earlier handcrafted models, so has a lovely shape to it, it's not too heavy and balances fantastically. Given its age, there are one or two marks on it, I've photographed the two most superficial ones, there's one by the neck pickup where it looks like someone's nail has previously gone through it over time of anchoring on there, it's been used (and looked after) for a good 12 years before I got it, and then there's a mark on the back which I've tried to photograph. The hardware is also starting to pit and fade, but it still works absolutely spot on! The neck is smooth and fast, and there are no sharp fret ends, and there is plenty of life left in them. No case, collection preferred but I can post if required. £700 based in Rochdale, Lancashire - also willing to meet up within reason.
