The best pedal compressor I have ever used. Extremely musical. It's just that I've realised I don't actually need compression with my new amp (AD200B) as the valves compress just right for me. I used to have the MXR compressor and the Empress is in a different league altogether for clarity and transparency. it was instantly hearable when I compared the two.
