lel Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 I'm looking to trade my Fender Precision Lyte. 1994 made in japan This bass is an absolute joy to play and it sounds as good as it looks, it weighs in at around 7lbs so you can play as long as you like without getting a bad back! The neck is superb, very similar to a jazz neck. The body is in very good condition, but remember it is a 20 year old used bass so it does have the odd little mark but absolutely nothing drastic. It has the silver hardware which i personally think looks much better than the gold hardware on earlier Lytes. The active electronics are very good, no crackling pots, nice preamp and equal output on both pickups. It has been recently strung with Dunlop nickel round 45's and sounds brilliant. I'm looking to trade for an 80's Fender Jazz Bass Special, preferably black or white and the passive version. Reason for it is that i'm a massive Guns N' Roses/Duff fan and i've wanted a jazz special for years. I don't want to let this bass go but as its my most valuable bass i have no choice!
