SOLD FOR FULL ASKING PRICE ON EBAY

For sale - Ashdown Mag400 (500w 4ohm head) & Ashdowm Mag 410T cab (8ohm) £350 For the pair

I have just treated myself to a mesa walk about so up for sale is my sweet little Ashdown rig.
This amp has led a charmed life and is pretty much as new. It's spent approx 12 months in a plush rehearsal studio and was used only once a week.
Its has seen literally zero travel, never seen the back of a van, and been treated with care.

The head is 500w at 4ohm but I have run it through the 4x10 cab which is 8 ohms, so technically the amp has only ever been treated gently at half its power, it has also never seen the volume above half way and been used for gentle song writing sessions only, never been gigged.
It left the studio when I got smashed into a million bits in a bike crash, was brought home and stored in the spare bedroom covered up, run occasionally in the house at low volume.

I've used it very recently for rehearsals but now have the mesa so it's got to go and raise some cash.

I really would prefer collection from Runcorn (Cheshire/ merseyside area) and any trail is welcomed.

It sounds great and has a great tonal range with its 5 band rotary EQ, warm and bright boost buttons, sub harmonics dial which is great. It has di out and effects loop, twin fans which are surprisingly quiet.

I have loved this amp, is really has been well looked after and has no mentionable marks at all on it.
The cab is light and it is easily transportable, the cab is a great size to fit easily in most car boots.
The amp is built like a tank and clearly is a quality made In England piece of kit.
Everything works as it should including the light in the analogue gain meter :)

£350 collected from Runcorn.

A hand made quality Ashdown ,made in England designed by mark Gooday, once cheif engineer at trace elliot, when trace elliot were good !!! Mark "left" trace elliot in 1997, went his own way and set up Ashdown engineering. Could explain why trace elliot went down hill not long after.

Edit: Just looking at them pics , it's like new, I should have went over it with a bit over sticky tape to get a couple of odd bits off it, when I do that I reckon it would pass as new.
The cab still has the original price sticker from Dawson's on the back of it at £399, the amp was same price
