aldude Posted July 14, 2014 Share Posted July 14, 2014 For sale, this as-new Tanglewater Classic Jazz, candy apple red with matching headstock. It's a PJ pickup configuration - I have changed the P pickup to a Delano PMVC 4 FE/M2 which sounds awesome. I have kept the J pickup as the original - the two sound surprisingly good blended together. I have also replaced the passive control plate with an East J-retro. As it did not fit properly I have had to "adjust" the control cavity a bit. The results are messy but functional, hidden by the new control plate and do not affect playability or anything else. As for trades, a sale is preferred as I've got my eye on something, but if you have a high end 4 string Jazz with appropriate cash adjustment - Mayones Jabba, Fender USA Jazz, that sort of thing - I would probably be interested!
