I can't compare it to scrambler as I've never played one but I can say that quasar sounds very good. Although it has just 2 knobs it is quite versatile. Octave up generates really good tones when played around 12th fret and above. I have decided I need money more than quasar which has been always in a pedalboard. The effect is in pristine condition. I can take velcro off, no problem. It takes regular 9 VDC, in & out jack, very simple to use. It is located in Slovenia, Europe. I'm not really looking for any trades, but offers are welcome.
