Bass legends prints/canvases

My wee dream of having a dedicated bass room is nearing reality. Just got to put the finishing touches to little baby Stubass's upstairs bedroom and the study room is mine! PC sorted, mixing console sorted, wall mounted bass hangers sorted, comfy beer sofa sorted, beer fridge sorted, just need myself some uber cool artwork to hang on the walls around my axes. Does anyone know where I might find canvases of legends? Particularly James Jamerson? Seem to be hard to find, or maybe the beers went to my eyes!

Things like this?

Seem to be pretty cool. I bought a couple of Freddie Mercury prints from a limited run of 850 worldwide a few years ago. One is hung up, the other is in hiding/storage as an investment (we'll see if that one works!)

Oh yes, thanks Mark. Just the kind of thing I was after. Nice one :)

I'm intrigued by collection pieces too but big baby Stubass is a liability (felt tip pen on the wife's favourite Jackson Pollock print!) so might leave it a bit yet!

I got this on a market stall in York a couple of years ago. Painted by a local artist, this is a wooden plaque about a foot high but she also did posters and other sizes. Took commissions too if she didn't have who you were looking for. Unfortunately the label with her details on has fallen off the back, but a BCer in York may know who I'm banging on about............sorry about dodgy mobile phone pic

Not a problem buddy, happy to help. I've been spending a fair bit of time on that website recently.

And if they haven't got exactly what you're looking for, you could give this a try :) Create your own canvas prints from your favourite photos, I'm having a couple done of my friends Harley Davidson as a birthday surprise for her

That is several shades of awesome right there! I'm going to have do some diggin!

Yeah, I think I'm going to get "the" Jamerson image put on one, just a case of getting it on the right file.

It's taking shape boys, it's taking shape!
