I've got this Gretsch G6119B Broadkaster Bass with a custom black finish, custom wiring and it's strung very low: BEAD/65-130 gauge. I got this at a very nice price and I'm really happy with it. The sound and feel of this instrument is very special. It's got a natural midrange growl and a nice full, thumpy low end. Never heard something like it before. Of course it's big, huge in fact but I don't mind bending over backwards to be able to play it. I wont be found dead without this somewhere near me. What's your Gretsch bass? Whip it out!
