Firstly I've re-finished it in a lovely light green. It's not a pro finish, but is still very decent indeed. It has a few minor scuffs but no major dings or scratches at all. The body is typical thunder 1, with a walnut and maple spine with ash wings. Lovely, high Matsumoku quality, well-aged tonewoods. I have also played about a lot with pickups on this body, and there is a large rout underneath the (custom) WBW pickguard, which as you can see is configured for two precision pickups. The control cavity is large and will accommodate a variety of electronics should you wish, and as you can see it has a number of holes for controls (you can of course fit dummy knobs and switches in any you might not use). The body comes with the pickguard, the rear control cavity cover and the rear battery compartment cover. Oh, and also it's original "Westone, Matsumoku made, made in Japan" neck chrome neck plate. One of the great things about this body is that it fits standard Fender-sized J and P necks. The neck heel slot is bang on 63mm at it's widest point. The hole pattern is also of the Fender dimensions, although you might well need to drill new holes in your neck to fit. The pics show all angles of the body, plus it made up with a Fender P-type neck. These Thunders also generally have lovely figuring to the Ash grain to them. I can't remember what this particular one was like unfortunately. However, I have also added a couple of pictures of another Thunder body (repeat - NOT this particular body) that I have stripped and refinished in oil and wax. As you can see they come up beautifully like that. It's a lovely resonant thing and gives a tight and broad tone with prominent lower mids. The black marks around the strap button holes are actually just fluff stuck there from the felt washers I had used. £65 posted to your door within the UK.
