SignsOfDelirium_bassist Posted November 13, 2013 Share Posted November 13, 2013 Hi all, sorry if there are threads about this, I searched for a bit and didn't quite find the answers I'm looking for. I recently joined a band that tune to D standard and occasionally drop to C. At the moment my Jazz bass has TI flats on it which I adore. I'd prefer to keep flats that feel similar to them if possible while not feeling too floppy when I detune. I have a hipshot d-tuner so I guess I need strings that can handle the shift in tuning often. So basically I'm kind of lost as to what my options are. I'm going to be getting my bass set up at the Gallery in Camden, so if all else fails I'm going to just trust in what they suggest, but I'd rather have some knowledge going in. Any suggestions?
