neilb Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 (edited) Could I have some advice re nice settings on the DBX 266. First off, is connected in the FX loop of my TE amp. I use the gate section to keep things a little quieter, Im OK with the settings there. Its just the compressor side of things. Im after a nice "bouncy" compressed sound just to keep things tidy and enhance the already fat mid sound that TEs give. Ive read the book and Im just confused. I tiddle with the controls and get in a mess. Any help would be nice. I know that "a good sound" is subjective, but.............. I use passive Ps and Js.
