This is a highly playable bass, excellent quality of craftsmanship, very distinctive, aggressive, super-J type of tone. I just get so well along with my MTD that I'm not even feeling the inclination to play my other basses. Lightweight, very stiff neck, very thin front-to back. 19 mm spacing currently, can be set lower. I prefer 19mm nowadays. It feels nice to be able to play with the same RH technique I grew up with. I'll record a cilp soon, but there are some vids on youtube - the Drozd tone is fairly distinctive, and I've found most vids have the same core tone. Asking 1900 pounds incl shipping. I think these list for about 3000 pounds new. I could entertain trade offers, but am not looking for anything in particular at the moment. nobodysprefect Posted December 15, 2012 Author Share Posted December 15, 2012 The reason the trade was cancelled is that the bass offered in trade was non-functional and the buyer was not willing to pay for the repairs that were necessary. I will be unable to ship anything between Dec 19 and Jan 10, so if you're interested in the bass, now's the time to act!
