thanks for all your help so far. i've also had a look at Clover basses which look great. anyone had any experience of them? it appears sounds great music in Heald Green, Cheshire are going to be stocking them. It's a great shop and is finally working on improving its bass section.

Sounds Great is a great store. I've been in there a couple of times. A friend of mine bought his Tyler guitar from there and the service was excellent.
