I'm looking for a side project to get my teeth into. Maybe just jamming around, maybe more. Gigs not essential but certainly could be persuaded. I currently play in a pub rock covers band which I love and would be my first commitment, but would like to get into something a bit heavier - anything from Maiden to Metallica, Diamond Head to Devil Driver... etc. Thrash, death, black, metal, 70's to now. No "core" or screamo though. Happy with covers, but also happy to start writing some stuff.

Here's me, the good bits and bad (hey, at least I'm honest)

I'm female, early 30's, [size=4]bit scruffy looking but I don't smell .[/size]

I'm a solid [size=4](read: can hold a groove, nowt fancy)[/size] bassist. Can't read music and don't know a massive amount of theory but learning slowly. I have decent enough gear, again nowt fancy but does the job great.

Don't currently have my own transport but always willing to chip in for petrol if you're going my way.

I want to join some people who a good chuckle and the odd pint, but strictly no drugs.
