After a while of trying to get a new rackmountable head, i just thought...f*** it...i'll stick with what i have!

after closer inspection i noticed the extras screw holes on the side of my warwick sonic 2..and thought...wait...this is mountable if i get the appropriate ears?

so...the question is....help on choosing the appropriate ears? xD

Not an easy answer to this one I'm afraid.

However, the amp itself looks to be 2U high, so that's your first measurement.

Now the fun bit starts. :)

The easiest way to find appropriate ears is to measure the width of the amp and find something the same size that you can buy ears for (although you will almost certainly need to drill new holes to mount the amp to the ears).

If you don't have any luck with that then measure the width of the amp in mm.
Subtract that number from from 482.
Divide that result by 2 and you'll get the front length of the ears you need.

So that's height (2U) and front length.

The depth can be anything you want within reason - obviously you want the depth to at least cover the side mounting holes on the amp.
