Valhalalf Posted July 12, 2012 Share Posted July 12, 2012 (edited) Hey B'Chatters My wife is putting on a charity event in Leicester next month (Saturday 11th August) for Muscular Dystrophy and has planned a 50's themed day and night. All was going to plan however one of the bands has pulled out and she is now in a major stress trying to find 50's style rockabilly bands who would like to do a 30 minutes set at the event. She has asked if I could put some feelers out on here to see if there any midlands based rockabilly bands who could really help her out. Unfortunately as it is a charity event she can't offer any sort of gig money but she is prepared to dip into her own pocket to help towards travel costs if nessicary. It's getting a lot of hype in Leicester and looks like there will be a lot of people going. It's also being sponsored by Vivien of Holloway which is a huge 40's & 50's retro clothes shop in London.
