MrPhelps Posted June 20, 2012 Share Posted June 20, 2012 (edited) We're a guitarist, keyboardist and drummer who've been playing together for many years as part of a larger a funk / rock outfit. We're looking to form a smaller group to do stuff in the style of Mahavishnu / Bitches Brew / Medeski Martin & Wood... that sort of thing. Lots of improvisation and minimal composition, although if you feel moved to write heads we'll play 'em. Not looking for a big commitment: initially we'll shoot for monthly rehearsals in central London with a view to putting a demo together and getting a gig or two. Should be a fun and challenging side-project that can be fitted in around other commitments. Acoustic / upright players are welcome but you'll need amplification. Auditions will probably be of the chat-over-a-beer-in-a-pub variety but if you have stuff on YT / Soundcloud / wherever then do let us know.
