It's a black box that has an isolating transformer inside that filters the crap out of the mains to give your equipment a clean power supply. I have used it for my hifi to give a cleaner more detailed sound and found it worked great on my bass rig to. It really improved the sound and protected my bass amp from mains noise and spikes. It is a rare piece of kit that would of original cost £300 and it works great as a cleaner for hifi, studio or live use. Cost is £50 collected form Sandhurst or £55 posted due to heavy weight of the transformer.
